3D-Print of a functional enclosure prototype during the development phase

We design and manufacture functional enclosures, mounting structures and mechanical components for electronic systems — fast, application-driven and tailored to the specific hardware.

Using modern 3D printing technologies, we realize prototypes, one-offs and small production batches that can be directly integrated into development, testing and deployment environments.

From Concept to Functional Enclosure

Whether a simple protective housing, a complex mounting assembly or an integrated device system — we develop enclosure solutions that equally consider mechanical, thermal and functional requirements.

We also advise whether a standard enclosure is sufficient or if a custom housing is technically and economically the better solution.

Not every project requires complex custom manufacturing — but not every challenge can be solved with an off-the-shelf enclosure.

We support you in evaluating the trade-offs between standard housings and custom solutions, developing the right enclosure concept with respect to protection requirements, manufacturing effort and cost.

Rapid Prototyping & Low-Volume Manufacturing

By leveraging modern additive manufacturing processes, we can produce mechanical components within short lead times. This enables fast development iterations and direct alignment with electronic assemblies, antennas or test setups.

Ideal for early functional testing, enclosure adaptations and small production batches with specific requirements.

Material Diversity for Different Requirements

Depending on the application, we select suitable materials that meet mechanical, thermal and environmental requirements:

  • Engineering plastics (e.g., ABS, ASA, PC) for robust enclosures
  • Fiber-reinforced filaments (e.g., CF-PETG, CF-PA) for increased stiffness
  • Materials for elevated temperature or outdoor resistance
  • Combination with machined metal components where higher dimensional accuracy or stability is required

Antenna Radomes & RF-Oriented Enclosure Engineering

A particular focus of our enclosure engineering lies in the development of RF-optimized housings and antenna radomes. Especially in wireless and antenna systems, mechanical design directly influences electromagnetic performance.

Beispiel: TSA-313 Antenne mit Radom aus Polycarbonat

We develop radomes and antenna housings that provide mechanical protection while carefully considering their impact on antenna performance.

  • Custom antenna radome development
  • Material selection under RF considerations
  • Mechanical integration of antennas and antenna arrays
  • Enclosure solutions for indoor and outdoor applications

Radome development is carried out in close coordination with the electromagnetic antenna design.

Integration into the Overall System

Our enclosure and mechanical solutions are not developed in isolation, but in close coordination with electronics, antennas and overall system architecture.

Through tight integration with our hardware and antenna development, we ensure that mechanical and electromagnetic requirements are considered and implemented together.
